Not being allowed to use "dad" or "grandad" on the headstone of a lost loved one at st marys church syderstone norfolk. This has and is still causing grief for the family and close friends.
Solution
Have a clear set rule for names/words that can be used on a headstone.. examples.... dad,grandad,great grandad, mum,nan,great nan.
There are headstones in places from before and after our request with these on but we have not been allowed to put on our loved ones stone.

I am the granson of John walden who sadly passed away on the 28th of january 2018. I have started this petition so our family and others who may have had these same issues, can try to get these simple words/names to be allowed on any headstone past present or future.
