Stop calling sex-trafficking survivors "Teen Prostitutes"
This is regarding the article published here http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/06/25/us-usa-prostitution-child-idUSBRE85O19H20120625.
Calling survivors of child-sex-trafficking "Teen Prostitutes" in your headlines or articles serves to re-victimize children who have been through too much already. This isn't about political-correctness, this is about debilitating shame that follows a child when people speak as if they had a choice. Reuters should think about what effect it's titles have on the subjects of their stories and on attitudes towards victims of horrific criminal abuse of children.
