PS295 dismissal procedures changed after the return to school in 2021-2022. The current dismissal location and changes have created many issues including: unsafe student departures from school, crowding on the sidewalk and street, chaos and confusion over which class is being dismissed and where. Family members should be allowed to enter the outdoor school courtyard for dismissal pick up and drop off. They should be allowed to safely pick up the student from the classroom line up. There are not DOE or CDC regulations preventing this return to a safer school pick up.
