BHS has removed the ability for juniors and seniors to leave campus for lunch as of the coming school year, off campus lunch comes with a host of benefits such as learning time management skills, relief from school stress, income for local businesses nearby, extra time at home for some, saving money for some families (through eating at home), learning practical life skills like budgeting as well as how to apply them in the real world, access to higher quality food, extra exercise for students and a way for students to show how much adults can trust them. If students don't fight this change then it will embolden the administration to make stricter regulations and less student centered decisions.
