I have had numerous complaints from residents using this Road. Residents  have not been consulted properly and some have gone to use the road as normal and shocked of the dead end no clear signs of road ahead has changed till you get to the end.  This has put more pressure on Landsdown Road and Melbourne Street with ques and tail backs. Oldham council need to ReThink this quickly,yes this is an accident hot spot but blocking the road is no way a solution. In my opinion they should either make it a one way system, traffic lights or a mini roundabout with of course local consultation.
