On November 3rd, we the high school students of MBA have decided that the new backpack restriction rule has gone out of hand. The pocket charts, and snack limitations are understandable but we believe that the Administration has gone out of line with this rule. This rule can damage every student’s schedule and their attendance for the remainder of the school year. A few students have already injured themselves just by tripping over other people in the hallways. We could potentially drop our things such as chromebooks, books, binders, pencil cases and more, which WOULD cause a problem, while walking back and forth from classes. If this was to happen, we would have to potentially pay for. If teachers want their students late and unprepared then the rule shall be continued. If the teachers want their students to be prepared AND on time, then there should be a debate on whether this rule should be enforced or not.
