Gas prices rose after Biden took office. This started before the Russian/Ukraine war. Biden’s energy polices started the gas prices rise long before external issues came along. 

Electric car batteries are not at the point they can fully replace gas powered vehicles. The infrastructure needed to charge electric vehicles is not fully in place. Both Electric cars and home charging capability are not affordable for most Americans.
I also want to point out that we have to get our electricity from a source: coal, nuclear water…..

We understand the need to conserve and protect the environment but climbing gas prices are impacting families’ ability to feed their families. Once winter comes, many will struggle to keep houses warm as these prices will impact heating oil and propane prices as well. 

President Biden, Please reconsider opening the Keystone XL pipeline and encourage North American oil production while providing incentives for other ‘clean’ energy initiatives including recycling spent car batteries and old solar panels.
