Every day, students enter school with the promise of an education free from the threat of violence. However, it has become increasingly clear that America's school hallways are not a guaranteed safe haven. Whether it's an elementary school in a small town in Connecticut or a high school in Florida, it's clear that school shootings are becoming an expected part of American life. Campus Safety 2021 had the greatest number of incidents, with 249. The next highest year was 2019 with 119. and it can't be taken as just bad news without raising awareness and doing something about it. 

Knowing that school shootings lead to loss of life, problems in learning development, emotional, mental and health problems, we ask our fellow students to join this call and help us by signing the petition to create laws that restrict carrying  weapons in any teenage and keep our schools and society safe to improve our learning environment.
