Lately each new Star Trek series has presented a cliched nihilistic version of the future that we have seen many other times in other sci-fi. This is not what Star Trek is about or at least used to be about. This is a petition for the creators to pay more homage to Rodenberry's hopeful tone of the future and pay attention to the dialogue that could be written beautifully
