For 2 years now, the police-themed episode of bubble guppies from season 3, episode 2, “The Police Cop-etition!” Was removed from online and TV. This happened following anti-police protests/riots across the nation. This is a blatant disrespect to law enforcement officers and all first responders, as they all work together to keep the community safe.  By removing the cartoon episode teaching children about police officers, we are denying kids the opportunity to learn about the importance of police in our community. After years of “defund the police” rhetoric, the entire country has seen an uptick in violent crime and decreased police morale. It’s time to stand up for our police officers. I would like to start taking action on my words of support for the police, starting with calling out people responsible for what our kids watch on television. Are we going to sit quietly as they imply the police aren’t imperative to community safety? Stand up for your husbands, wives, sons and daughters. This is a petition for Nick Jr. to return the episode for viewing on all streaming services and TV. Enough is enough. Back the Blue!
