The undersigned respectfully request that we at Kirk in the Hills restore Glenn Miller, former Director of Music to this position as soon as possible. His ongoing interest in returning to this job has been expressed and communicated to our church by him in writing and during the application period. Apparently, this was not given further consideration by the search committee at the time but remains a matter for Session.

His contributions: past and yet to come are immeasurable. His departure was at an unfortunate time in the history of our church, and that he left under duress is regrettable. 

That we have not restored him to our ministry, and us to his, is confounding. We as a congregation and a community are greatly disappointed to see such a valuable and valued member of our ministry be overlooked in his desire to continue his contribution to our church’s mission.
