Following on from the announced closure today of Aberdeen Beach Leisure Centre Swimming Pool - The swimming pool has been rundown and in need of a restoration for years now, covid gave them the excuse to close the flumes and now the energy costs are being blamed on the closure of the pool. Aberdeen council should be investing in our city especially in sport! From fundamental life saving skills by teaching children how to swim and families having a day out. Cities such as Perth and Dundee have large facilities that far outweigh a city that discovered oil and has now become poorer. Millions spent of ridiculous road systems yet lets get the council to step up!
