On behalf of La Follette High school, the environment and culture at our school is unhealthy and toxic. With major issues of the following;

• Substance abuse
• Student/teacher conflicts 
• Imposter Syndrome 
• Teen stress/exhaution 
• Lack of mental health support resources
• Etc

However, in a African American Modern U.S. History class we have been challenged to civically engage our community. I'm here to ask you what will it take to have a safe community where every student can succeed? How much longer will students have to suffer in silence to receive the justice that they need? We are demanding the continuation of Restorative Justice Spaces designed for POC in La Follette High school. We should have at least 2 RJ Spaces in La Follette High school. I'm asking for your support to the dedication for our youth but especially our Black youth. Thank you.
