Many restaurants or places where you can purchase any food are wasting too much food daily. Many restaurants throw away all their leftover food at closing time and make fresh food the next day for customers. An example is Dunkin Donuts, every day at closing time they throw away all of their leftover donuts. A few people I know have gone to Dunkin Donuts a few minutes before it closed and had witnessed the employees there throwing away many donuts. If you ever wonder what happens to all the food, then that's your answer. Many food stores decide to throw away all of their food at night. Right now I'm just pointing out Dunkin Donuts because its a common one, but think about all the other places as well. 

In atlanta, GA there is road named shallowford road and near there is a bridge. Underneath that bridge there is a handful of homeless people. They are starving every night and have no food. Think about all the leftover food restaurants could donate to them. Everything is getting really expensive these days and everyone needs to help one another. If restaurants could donate the food to shelters or people who live on the streets it would help them alot. Even if you don't give the food to the poor at least dont throw away all the food. Thats still a lot of food that is going to waste.
