The Care bill for children and adults has been a problem for years. Some of these people are in care because of family breakdown that can sometimes be prevented with the correct respite care package. If you provide respite care, you will in all probability be doing it as a second job as full time hours are hard to come by whether sourced privately or from the social care bill. 

These placements can cost £480 per night. Respite care providers whose intervention can prevent this cost, get after tax £6 or less. That is the rate in most boroughs in London.
