Maintain the Integrity of the 2016 Presidential Election
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
On November 8, 2016, our republic held election for our 45th President of the United States of America. Elligible votors cast their ballot to select the candidate they want their state's Electoral College electors to vote for. As stated in the 12th Amendment of our Constitution, and in the same process each of our U.S. Presidents have been elected since George Washington, Donald J. Trump has been elected to serve as our 45th President.
Each election results in losing candidate/s and thus, disappointed supporters. It is our duty as Americans, whether our preferred candidate is the victor or not, to realize the value of our process, accept the results, and unite. Recent protests, and now petition, seek to undermine our Constitutional election process, violate the purpose of the Electoral College process, and embarrass the greatness of our system overall.
The undersigned hereby call on all Electoral College electors to vote in accordance with the ballots cast by the voters of their state on November 8, 2016, and as set forth in the 12th Amendment of our Constitution. Further, if any petition is considered otherwise, the undersigned challenge the legitimacy each of the participants by way of their status as a U.S. citizen, eligibility to vote in U.S. election, and verification that they cast their legitimate ballot on November 8, 2016.
