Blaston is a high intensity Virtual Reality 1v1 game for Meta Quest and Steam VR. The game features a color cast of characters the player can choose from to represent themselves in game. These skins can be worn in combat as well as in the “Ozo lounge” where players can converse and set up games with one another. In this lounge there is a poster for a yet unseen skin, a reference to Resolution Games earlier VR title bait. The poster in question contains Jim Box. All of the other playable characters in game have posters, but for some reason Jim-Box, while having a poster of his own AND fitting into the overall naming convention of the Blaston characters with an “x” at the end of its name - doesn’t have one. This is unjust and simply can’t stand. Jim-Box is what this game needs for bearded player representation in Blaston, and adding him into the game will allow those with facial hair to feel more at home in the Blaston community. Cross promotion is also important, and It’s safe to assume resolution games would benefit from some cross promotion of their other titles in this manner into Blaston and vice versa to up player counts for their respective titles. This is truly what Blaston needs. Blaston needs Jim-Box, and he needs us.
