Residents of Wedgewood Houston and Chestnut Hill. The proposed urban design overlay (UDO) does not represent the community needs as highlighted in the design study. Members of our community were promised robust discussion would be allowed once the proposal was present. We have have not been allowed this. This UDO will impact every household in the community. It will also impact what you can do to the property you own now and in the future. During this pandemic many residents can not participate in the community discussion. We are asking for a 6 month delay in the proposal to allow residents to engage and receive the correct information to make a informed decision on this proposal. Our residents are being disenfranchised in the middle of pandemic.
