For many years now our region of the county (Pate Pond Road) has been without any kind of high speed internet service and the only available service isn't that great because the connection is too slow to do much more than check your email and sometimes you can't even do that. With the possibility of virtual schooling looming I am left to worry whether or not I will even be able to do that because of my slow internet service. I am sure many other people in the area are struggling with the same realization. I understand that it is expensive for internet service providers to lay cable and whatever else is needed to provide services but what they don't seem to realize is that they would make their money back in no time because most of us would jump at the chance to get high speed internet. There are so many of us that depend on the internet for our jobs and school. I am a photographer and a lot of my work is done online so it gets very frustrating when I have to struggle for an hour to edit one photograph. I am asking anyone who feels the same way I do to sign this petition and let these companies know we need their business and they need ours. Thank You!
