Please Support Property Rights for Owners in Virginia-Highland - or P.R.O. VaHi for short. P.R.O. VaHi believes in the Property Rights of Owners in Virginia-Highland and rejects 'Historic District Overlays' that restrict those rights and divide our community.

A group of neighbors is seeking to make a portion of our VaHi community into a Historic District with restrictions that limit the rights of current and future homeowners to improve their properties.

P.R.O. VaHi rejects ‘Historic District Overlays’ because:

- Historic District Overlays put undo limitations on homeowners rights  to improve their properties; and

Historic District Overlays limit the current and future owner's ability to fully make their own decisions on how to improve their properties.

- Historic District Overlays will restrict the fronts of ALL houses from renovations or tear-down, not just historically significant properties.

We celebrate the variety of houses and styles in Virginia-Highland. We don't want HOA-like restrictions on our houses, and we don't believe any homeowners in Virginia-Highland should have to conform to any group's standards beyond city ordinances.

Support P.R.O. VaHi – reject the designation of Historic District Overlays in Virginia-Highland by signing the petition below. Your voice will be a message to those seeking these districts, the Virginia-Highland Civic Association, and the Atlanta Urban Commission that our community rejects the restrictions on our properties from Historic District Overlays.
