South Norwood is a beautiful neighbourhood in South East London with a strong community spirit. We have young families, school children, young adults, older generations and it’s beautifully multicultural. We have a lovely country park and great local amenities. However, there is a problem with dog poo where owners constantly dump either bags of dog poo all over the streets or in any corner they can find or they leave the faeces exposed in the middle of the pavements. It’s extremely unhealthy, unsightly and just so horrible to see every day in the streets outside our homes. Please clear your dog poo and hold on to it until you can find a proper bin, if this means taking it home, then please do so. However there are bins in the entrance to the country park. If this is too much to ask, then you should not have a dog. Although as a community we welcome responsible pet ownership, so please just do the right thing and clear up properly after your dog.
