Our present RWA Committee has been on a spree to hold commercial melas to make money selling stalls to commercial establishments across delhi. This sort of Mela is too commercial and brings in unwanted crowd and creates a lot of noise and traffic pollution and disturbs the life of residents. A colony carnival should be only for stalks available at reasonable prices only to residents for fun like in so many colonies on occasion of Diwali. But our association has crossed all limits and has made this a commercial venture. We need to stop this greed now. The RWA is formed to do welfare of residents and safeguard the interest of residents and work on residents welfare activities not merely hold commercial melas. The present body has made children playground in Tikona park a Mela ground and holds these melas against the liking of residents. Let’s sign this petition and present it to Authorities giving them permission to hold commercial activities in residential park. Say no more to commercial Mela in M block tikona park.
