RESIDENTS OF FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (Indianapolis)  – NO TO ANOTHER SUBDIVISION 

ARBOR HOMES IS PROPOSING A NEW SUBDIVISION AT 10150 Indian Creek Road (just west of Franklin Township Middle School East) on ground that extends from Edgewood to Indian Creek.

The request is for a D-4 zoning that would allow 257 homes on 97 acres with a minimum lot size of 60 feet by 130 feet.  The site plan calls for entrances on Indian Creek and on Edgewood Avenue.

IF YOU LIVE IN FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION AND ASK THE CITY TO SAY NO TO THIS ZONING REQUEST. 

We do not need more houses in Franklin Township at this time.  We already have enough existing homes or homes that have already been approved (but are not yet built).  We need a chance to have our infrastructure catch up.

Our schools are overcrowded and we are already facing a referendum to raise property taxes for school operations.

Neither Indian Creek Road or Edgewood Avenue can handle more traffic.

The lot sizes are NOT comparable to existing nearby or neighboring homes.

Franklin Township has been inundated with an explosion of residential development.   It is time for the City of Indianapolis to SUPPORT FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP’S QUALITY OF LIFE AND FUTURE SUSTAINABILITY AND SAY NO TO THIS SUBDIVISION – ASK THEM TO SAY NO TO 2020-ZON-045.
