Commissioner Marvin Smith has grossly misrepresented the views, values, and beliefs of the residents of Darby Township with a reckless and dangerous disregard for the lives and welfare of the Police Officers in the surrounding area by allowing a depiction of murderous and violent acts against the police. The depiction of the caricature on Facebook has undermined the morale and community presence of the police department.

This incident has been publicized on most of the local news outlets including television and the newspapers. Furthermore, his appointment as the Police Commissioner of Darby Township only exacerbates the distress for the police officers who serve the Darby Township Residents. 

We, the undersigned qualified electors of The Board of Commissioners, Township of Darby petition for the removal of Commissioner Marvin Smith from office of Commissioner, Ward 1.
