Require Amazon & Pittsfield Township To Move Amazon Project Entry/Exit
Amazon has decided to open a sorting and distribution center on Carpenter Road in Ypsilanti, MI. They plan to convert a current traffic light @ Cloverlane Drive and Carpenter Road for their employee entry/exit. The Amazon facility will run 24 hours a day/7 days a week. The current traffic light is the main entrance/exit to a residential neighborhood which is already overwhelmed with cut through traffic for area commuters who use Cloverlane Dr to cut down on their commute.
Help us have a voice by signing this petition to let Amazon, Pittsfield Township and the Washtenaw County Road Commission know residents who reside in the neighborhood do NOT want the traffic light @ Cloverlane/Carpenter utilized for entry/exit to the Amazon facility for any purpose (vans or employee/entry/exit).
We are petitioning for a separate entrance to be created closer to Morgan Rd - away from the residential neighborhoods and closer to the other existing businesses to not disrupt the residential community with additional and unnecessary traffic.
