BLUEPRINT INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGENCY BOARD PETITION

The 2021 Blueprint allocation of $20-26.5 Million for FSU stadium renovations from our Tallahassee/Leon Co. sales tax monies is widely unpopular among our citizens. It is seen as out of touch with the community's values and representative of only the boosters and allies.  Of all our objections, the most glaring is that ZERO PERMANENT JOBS will be created for our $20 Million.

The community has real, pressing human needs, none of which are addressed by the stadium improvements. The absolute value of this money to the community far, far outweighs its value to the FSU stadium et al. 

We citizens expect elected leaders to actually lead, not endorse spending that is irrational. Especially egregious is $6.5 Million we'll pay to borrow $20 Million!  No one can view that as other than incompetence or maleficence.

In an effort to restore public trust, the undersigned demand that the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency Board of Directors take any and all measures immediately to remedy their heinous decision and return the $20-26.5 Million for more worthy projects affecting the greater Tallahassee/Leon Co. area/community.
