As many of you are likely aware Houston Road Kingsford/Kensington has 2 resident parking schemes along the street - KN1 (Day Ave to Barker St) and KF2 (Barker St to Gardeners Road) - to ensure residents can park near their homes and discourage non-residents from parking longer than 90 minutes. 

BUT did you know this scheme is only in place on ONE side of the road?! The odd numbers side is the only side residents can park on LEGALLY without being fined. This is forcing residents from the even numbers side to park on the opposite side of the road - the parallel parking side rather than on their own side of the road with angle parking. This limits parking for ALL residents of the street. 

Please sign this petition to Randwick Council to have the resident parking schemes instated on BOTH sides of the road to stop parking chaos and minimise risk to the safety of those who are forced to park on the opposite side of the road and cross with groceries, children and elderly neighbours.
