Because we need to educate our children and communities about cancer and consequences of this horrendous disease. With the Barbie doll we can teach others that beautiful can be with hair and without. Bald Barbie is a tremendous idea.

Know Survivors and those who lost thier battle. I also feel it would make the children with cancer feel better. I always wanted Barbies like me. But had to get them how they were made.

Because I watched my friend Cindy who had the most gorgeous strawberry blonde hair shave it off before the chemo took its toll.
Hair or no hair, she was beautiful and did indeed Live Strong (and died with incredible bravery and grace).
