REQUIRE HOMEOWNER CHOICE for the Clover Ridge Row Home Porch Special Assessment

The Issue

We - the Row Home Owners - in the Clover Ridge Village Condominium Assocation deserve a VOICE in determining how and when our porches are re-built. We cannot allow Gassen and the Board - of which no one member is affected - dictate who is working on a project on our homes that ONLY WE are paying for. 

We have not been granted any opportunity to influence how this project is to unfold. Rather the Board and our Management Company has worked in secret since at least last fall and forced this upon us conveniently after the Annual Elections. 

Without any notice we are all on the hook for a substantial sum of money and being forced to use Gassen's own sister company - even though they weren't the lowest bid. 

We are demanding two things:

  1. All homeowners have the choice in who does the work on their own home. As (4) homes have already been granted this for the front porch, and they still allow it for the back deck, the presedent has been set. 
  2. We are allotted a reasonable time to get this addressed, at minimum the end of the year. With the average cost around $10,000 this was in none of our budgets at the beginning of the year.

Please join us in uniting together to ensure all homeowners are given the choice that is best for them - not Gassen.
