With this petetion The Indian Student Committee would like to address some of our concerns regarding the ongoing geopolitical conflict on the land of Ukraine.

Firstly, we would like to thank the university and the staff for conducting the last semester with so much proficiency and stability. With the next semester around the corner and the still ongoing uncertainty in the matter we would like the university to know that the students signing this petition is Standing with Ukraine in this difficult time.

With the news of permanent transfer coming from all around the medical universities in Ukraine, we would like to inform the dean office that we still would like to work for a solution that keeps usc connecting to our city and university in Ivano-FRANKIVSK. With signing this petition, we would like to request the university to work on some solution that allow temporary mobility of the students to their sister university in parts of Europe till there are written negotiations regarding war between Ukraine and Russia.

As soon as the peace is maintained in written form, we would like to return to Ivano to continue our remaining semesters. Right now, even the advisory from Indian Embassy is not allowing us to travel back to Ukraine to continue our degree. And with seeing other universities like KMU, UZOGROD, KhNMU opting for temporary mobility of their students as an option. We hope that our university will also work on such solutions for the next few semesters till situation in Ukraine are favorable for a safe return. With temporary mobility as solution in hand, we have a real chance of returning back to Ukraine and be a help in supporting the economy of the nation for the rest of our course.

In the end we would like to conclude that with all the agents talking about a permanent move from the city which we consider as home and with all the uncertainty of the situation in hand we would like to put our faith in our university and would want the university to shift us for a temporary period of time so we can study and acquire our degree with full potential in offline mode till Ukraine is safe for return.

And in coming time serve humanity to the fullest with our knowledge and skills.
