Ventiki in Ventura, CA has delicious food, a unique menu, tiki-licious ambiance, and committed staff; however, they use single-use plastic straws for each drink they serve. Every. Single. Drink. You can already imagine how that piles up our plastic-usage creating a very negative impact on our local environment and global climate crisis. 
We call on them to switch to a more eco-friendly option such a paper card-board or getting rid of them completely and selling re-usable bamboo ones that would fit in beautifully with the “tiki”motif. 

We did ask the server if they ever thought of switching. The server agreed, acknowledge the issue, and even said they will mention it to the owner, who can make that decision.
