This is to appeal to Google India to reconsider their recent decision to make all internships remote. The previous hybrid plan seemed appropriately cautious and safe. Covid cases in Karnataka and Telangana have been on the decline for a while and there is no prediction of another wave by authorities for the next few months. 
A lot of us were looking forward to working offline as even with the equipment set-up, working from home can be less productive. There are always distractions coming up which are absent in an office environment. 
One of a significant perk of working in Google was also talking and learning from current employees and interact with like-minded interns. Such positive interactions are also cut down on in online mode. 

We strongly feel online internship would greatly bring down our experience and learning at Google.
