Daily thousands of Australians are subjected to numerous scam phone calls. Each year thousands of  Australians are fleeced out of millions of dollars, of retirement funds, home loan deposits, their homes, all of which are hard earned savings that the Australian Federal Government appears to doing nothing about.

All Australians including our elderly and being subjected to a barrage of calls daily and hence have stopped answering calls from numbers we do not recognise and silent numbers. Thus putting the safety of thousands of Australians at risk each and every hour or every day.

This is not one Australian who is at risk of being scammed. 

I am requesting the Australian Federal Government fund a task force to track and prosecute telephone scammers.

I am also requesting that the Australian Federal Government make it more difficult to obtain multiple phone numbers by requesting ABN's, absolute proof of Business or private address (or address of a relative with proof of same).

I am requesting the Australian Federal Government set up an Australian wide website and phone number that allows people to report these scam phone numbers, that also allows the receiver of calls to ascertain if it is indeed a bonified business.

We all deserve peace in our lives and to not have our savings stolen by unscrupulous scammers. We deserve to have a "one stop Federal Shop" that protects us from scammers.
