Currently, there is only one small VA Outpatient Clinic within Imperial County. San Diego currently has two large VA Hospitals and the one in Yuma is still a long distance and in a different sate.  With this survey, I propose we push Veterans Affairs to install a Veterans Hospital in Imperial County in order to provide a broader spectrum of care for our Veterans living within Imperial County.  

Many Veterans may not have the resources and/or the available schedule to travel the 100 plus miles in order to receive care that they might otherwise get more readily with a more localized hospital.
