On June 2nd 2022 Policygenius laid off 170 employees. We have had several former employees reach out to request this assistance, and have been met with verbiage from the employee handbook that states "unless otherwise required by law accrued but unused FTO or PTO will not be paid out upon termination of employment."

We are requesting that Policygenius live by the golden rule, the one that set the precipice for such an amazing company to be built. We are requesting that all unused PTO/sick time and parental leave be paid out with our severance packages to help supplement the lack of employment.
