I'm doing this petition because I can't own my own device, maybe you can think that is ridiculous but on my attempts I asked also the maker of the device and they said no to me and that is why I'm doing this petition, I know that vulnerabilities are dangerous and need to be fixed, I'm not asking you to not fix them but after fixing it you can sometimes like every year for example make a root tool that use a fixed vulnerability so that we can use it to own the devices we buy. Novadays is a problem to unlock devices because producers are abusing of the vbmeta feature to lock devices and that is a problem. I know that this petition probably will fail because I assume that Google don't like rooting, if was not the case then why use vbmeta partition that if cannot be flashed makes devices not unlockable? I know that you have done it for security but it is used to lock us from our devices. Another thing I can suggest is a verification of the property of the device before root to avoid wrong uses of the tools. I hope something would change.
