Since the SHS voucher for the Afternoon Shift is intended for tuition fees and school services, air conditioning in the classroom is not included as it is under additional expenses. 

A study by Denissen et al. (2008) discovered that the weather’s daily influence has more of an impact on a person’s negative mood, rather than helping one’s positive mood. Higher temperatures were associated with an increase in a person’s negative feelings, feelings such as being more irritable, distressed, or jittery. 

Having access to such luxury and comfort would create a healthy atmosphere for the students of 12 - St. Louis, further motivating us to study and improve our well-beings.

That being said, signing this petition means that you consent to pay for access to air conditioning within our classroom.
