We appeal to all those parents who have children attending Lakeside Primary School in Cardiff as well as Cardiff High School pupils having to cross Cyncoed Road which is busy,  hazardous and dangerous. We desperately need a zebra crossing  so that we can all feel safer getting to and from school. The obvious place is where the pedestrian refuge is near Celyn Ave. We feel it's only a matter of time before we experience near misses involving children crossing.  Few drivers slow down, most don’t and many far exceed the 30mph speed limit on this road. Several of us have asked our local council for a zebra crossing to no avail, hence our petition. Please help me by signing this petition so that we can get a safe crossing for all. Please also share with as many parents as you can. Thank you.
