CPR for Pennsylvania Students

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

Presently, 39 states have laws requiring students to receive CPR training before graduating from high school. Unfortunately, Pennsylvania is not among those states.

According to the American Heart Association, more than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur in the United States outside the hospital annually.  Less than half receive bystander CPR before health professionals arrive.  Almost 90% die!

We can save many more lives by including CPR training in the school curriculum. By passing Pennsylvania House Bill 921, students will learn a lifetime skill that will save lives.

Pennsylvania House Bill 921 will enable Pennsylvania to become the 40th U.S. state to have students learn CPR before graduation.  Please SUPPORT HB 921!
