Human Trafficking is on the rise in America. The number of reported cases is over 35% higher between 2016 and 2017 nationally and over 50% higher here in the State of Florida; according to The Florida Department of Children and Families.

The bill we want will help stop human trafficking in Florida and rescue victims by:

• Raising public awareness, especially to children, through education and public awareness campaigns
• Teaching warning signs of human trafficking to local communities and business owners
• Holding seminars on red flags like "What is considered inappropriate behavior, even by a family member"
• Establishing a hotline for accurate and prompt reporting of an incident specifically for the most at risk districts in the state

Florida is 3rd in human trafficking activity in the United States and according to this year's UN report 1/3 of those persons being trafficked are children. This has to stop TODAY!. Join us in pushing FL state lawmakers to do what's right to combat human trafficking.
