In July, McDonalds Green Lanes in the north London borough of Haringey chopped down 11 mature Plane and Lime trees. They did not include this in their planning application for “minor refurbishments” at the site. And worse still, the trees were replaced by plastic grass. 

McDonald’s have made vague commitments about replanting ‘in the area’. We demand they remove the plastic glass and replant on the site.
