The reasons why I no longer want plastic bags? Because our planet is currently well polluted and I would like to minimize the rate of this pollution. Do you think about the future generation? How will you live on a planet with a dirty environment? We cannot just get up and find a new Earth to live on. We need this one. I chose Spinneys because it is a very big company in Lebanon where I'm living right now and their intensive production of plastic bags creates considerable ecological damage. My idea would be to get rid of the small plastic bags and replace them with larger reusable bags. Although some may say that their bags are biodegradable, there are several studies that show that the bags do not completely break down once thrown away. What about plastic bags to put fruits and vegetables in? Reusable bags would be much more convenient and could even help Spinneys to avoid paying the extra cost of production of plastic bags.
