On Friday, January 13th, the ATF banned pistol braces from being used or owned. All gun owners are given the option over 120 days to surrender or destroy the firearm and/or the pistol stabilizing brace for short-barreled rifles (SBRs). We all know that this law will only affect law-abiding citizens and will do nothing to stop or slow the "assault rifle epidemic." This will only impact our disabled veterans as well as lawful gun owners and enthusiasts.

While this ban is NOT a law, after the 120-day period it will be enforced like one. This creates a slippery slope in which any agency could create a policy that could possibly affect any aspect of our lives. This cannot be allowed to happen. This is a dangerous level of overreach bypassing our established congressional structure.

This petition will be a voice against setting this dangerous precedent and help to preserve our freedoms as American citizens.
