Stuart Green started this petition to Geoffrey LLC and

In June of 2018, Toys R Us closed all of their U.S. stores and cost over 33,000 employees their jobs.  In October, a group of investors, led by the group Geoffrey, LLC, announced at a press release that Toys R Us was changing to Geoffrey's Toy Box and the mascot of Toys R Us, Geoffrey the Giraffe, was spotted wearing a cape with the words "Back From Vacation".  This move was a huge insult to all of the employees who had lost their Toys R Us jobs without getting severance pay.  In November 2018, photos were posted online of some of the Geoffrey's Toy Box stands that had popped up in Kroger's grocery stores of items like Journey Girls dolls and EduScience Lab products.  Toys R Us, what was once a giant toy store that carried everything from bicycles and Legos to video games, has now become a literal box with toys displayed on them.  We, the fans, would like to see Geoffrey, LLC and the investors who own Toys R Us and its subsidiaries to pull the Geoffrey's Toy Box and re-open their colorful Toys R Us stores.  More importantly, we would like to see every Toys R Us employee who lost their job without pay get the severance pay they earned and deserve. We'd also like the investors to contribute to the company that Toys R Us' former owners created, the Toys R Us Family Fund.  December 2018 is going to be the first Christmas without a Toys R Us and it's going to be a loss for everyone involved, from the investors to the former workers, and it's going to be a huge loss for children.
