I am a single mom who just got a lease renewal with an increase of $400/month.  That is outrageous.  Trying to get enough signatures to have the greedy property management company change that unreasonable increase. Illinois needs rent control.  These large buildings are owned by investment companies who do not care about their tenants.  They do not care about communities - they only care about profit.
