Jean-Marc is an amazing professor at Algoma University within the faculty of social work. He has valuable experience working front-line social work and teaching, which he is very passionate about. Currently, his contract ends in December and is not being renewed. As students at the university, we have the power to show what he means to us. We are not done learning from him yet! The more signatures the better picture we will have of the impact Jean-Marc has/will have. We hope to get this petition shared and get as many signatures as soon as possible (as there is a bit of a time constraint). Afterwards, we will bring this petition to the attention of those in charge of staffing and contracts. We hope to get Jean-Marc's contract renewed, but send in your thoughts as I'm sure it would mean a lot to him.
