Our education system inclusive of our elementary school students have become overcome by the unnecessary burden placed on them while undertaking the Florida State Assessment (FSA.) Accountability of achievement can and have been found through different methods. The FSA leaves tax payers and our elected officials to fund an action that few want. Floridian elementary children are enduring inappropriate levels of stress directly related to the FSA as well as receiving less opportunity due to limited funding, as resources are diverted for implementation of the test. We ask that you stop the FSA for elementary schools through change in policy and allow are children to be assessed at the local level.
