Sister Rosemary Connelly changed thousands of lives. For over 50 years, she built Misericordia into a home filled with love, dignity, and purpose for people with developmental disabilities.

She didn’t just care for people—she saw their humanity when others looked away. Her work made Chicago kinder and stronger.

Now that she’s passed, let’s give her the lasting honor she deserves. We’re calling on the City of Chicago to rename a street near Misericordia “Sister Rosemary Way.” It’s a small tribute for someone who gave everything.

Chicago has honored athletes, mayors, and celebrities. Let’s make sure we also honor a true saint.
