For the past 30 years, Kelvin McAllister has served as the Founder/Director of the Uptown Inner City, Inc. (UICL). Through Kelvin’s leadership and commitment, UICL provides free year around recreational, youth development and community capacity building programs.  More importantly, Kelvin has created a safe haven for the youth in the community through his partnership with the New York City Board of Education, NYC Parks Department, Columbia University and local businesses.
