Connecticut has removed school mask mandates. As a result, we should no longer have one at WestConn. There are numerous areas on campus where hundreds of students interact without masks on a daily basis, including the performance arts and athletic buildings, as well as the student center dining areas. At this point, having a mask mandate is a joke. Over a year ago we were told by the school that if 80% of the school was vaccinated we would have mask mandates removed. Ironically, we are required to be vaccinated to be here, with few exceptions. It is time that the administration lives up to their own policies.
